What We Do
Our primary service is a 1-on-1 counseling package, providing you with the support needed to help you get admitted to a suitable college. Each Ivy Gate Consultant takes on a maximum of two students, giving you the individualized attention you deserve.
The Counseling Package includes academic and extracurricular planning, unlimited essay editing, crafting of a unique application profile, and much more.
Drafted and designed by a Korean student from Harvard University who had scored full marks in the SAT I, our curriculum combines traditional test prep center techniques and innovative strategies of private tutors. Ivy Gate SAT courses provide students with a sound knowledge of the test structure and contents. Through intensive and intellectually rigorous sessions, students will learn all the useful techniques essential to scoring high on the actual SAT test.

Built by our full-time consultant with a master degree in Environmental Science from Harvard, our Math and Science subject courses provide students with a solid foundation of the subjects together with effective test taking strategies.
IvyEnglish: English Enhancement
Unlike classroom programs, where “one size fits all,” our IvyEnglish curriculum incorporates both a standards-based and self-paced approach to effective English learning. Students are first assessed by experienced instructors, then placed into the most appropriate level to suit their individual needs. IvyEnglish strives to help students build effective communication skills, a broad global perspective, heightened cultural sensitivity, and an acute current affairs awareness, all of which help them blossom into informed individuals who can identify with top Ivy League students.
Need help only with essays? Ivy Gate can help you plan and edit as few or as many of your essays as you want. Consultants will also help students brainstorm and develop potential essay topics. All Ivy Gate students also have access to a pool of more than 200 essays written by Hong Kong students.
